The Yahoo! Mail beta gives users a new Web 2.0 interface with drag and drop, a preview pane and other enhancements. This tour was designed to educate users migrating from the "classic" interface as well as new users coming directly to the beta. The beta mascot character, Liam, walks users through key interactions. I collaborated with an interaction designer and we worked closely with marketing and an ad agency to develop the illustrations. We looped in developers to implement this tour within a short timeframe.
